Want your session in a studio or at a venue? Sure thing! Studio fees start at $150 and are calculated based on study/venue location and duration of your session.
Please inquire during booking if you would like to discuss a studio or venue for your session setting.

Think natural, timeless, and coordinated - without being matchy. Neutral and earth-toned colors photograph beautifully. Creams, tans, soft browns, sage, rust, muted blues, and warm grays are all great options. I recommend a mix of solids with subtle florals and patterns rather than everyone wearing the same color. Aim for complimentary tones that work together instead of identical outfits. Fabrics and textures matter just as much as color. Natural materials photograph best, so lean toward cotton, linen, denim, knits, or gauze, and mis texture to add visual interest and depth.
What should you wear to your family shoot?
Together we will choose a location that is meaningful to your family! Whether it's an outdoor park, urban downtown area, or in the comfort of your own home or backyard, we will settle on the best location to match your family's unique energy and preferred aesthetic. North Alabama offers diverse backdrops, ranging from rugged mountain overlooks to historic urban neighborhoods. Mountain vistas and overlooks are ideal for a dramatic, adventurous feel (Monte Sano State Park, Blevins Gap Nature Preserve). Waterfalls and creeks are great for intimate, motion-filled and nature-inspired framing (Hays Nature Preserve). Historic charm is best for timeless portrait sessions (Twickenham Historic District).
How do you choose a session location in north Alabama?
Oh, THIS is one of my favorite questions! Please do not stress about this. Not only is it completely normal for kids to be chaotic, rowdy, and mischevious, this is exactly what look to embrace in your session. Sessions are designed to be flexible to allow for exploring, cuddling, snacking... I embrace the wild and candid moments because they are often what turn into the most authentic and cherished images. I call it chaos magic!
What if my kiddos won't cooperate?
Absolutely! Every session investment package includes a minimum number of fully edited, high-resolution digital images that will be delivered to you typically within three weeks of your session. Your gallery will be viewable online and can be downloaded directly from your gallery link. If you have questions regarding printing images, please inquire at the time your gallery is delivered.
Can I download and print my images?
